:ayatollah: " Cardiff City awards 2014-15 Season " :ayatollah:

Player of the year: Bruno Manga

Young player of the year: Joe Ralls

Goal of the year: Alex Revell (v Brentford away)

Even though he only signed at the end of the August transfer window and sat the whole of January out, Bruno Manga was the runaway winner of Cardiff City's player of the year award

Giant defender Bruno Manga is Cardiff City’s player of the year for 2014-15.

The Gabon international centre-half was voted the Bluebirds’ best player of the season and received his award during the annual Cardiff City Supporters Club awards night.

The other big winners of the evening were Joe Ralls, voted young player of the year, and Alex Revell, whose magnificent finish at Brentford was goal of the season.

Chairman Mehmet Dalman, chief executive Ken Choo and manager Russell Slade were among the guests along with the club’s coaching and medical staff.

Captain David Marshall and all players who are not out on loan were among more than 200 people who attended the presentation dinner at Cardiff City Stadium.

Manga, Marshall, Sean Morrison and Fabio were nominations for player of the year with the French-speaking defender earning the majority of votes.

Morrison and Fabio tied for third in a vote dominated by defenders, while Peter Whittingham also received strong support.

Midfielder Ralls, who has emerged as a first team regular this season, earned the young player trophy with Matty Kennedy runner-up and Kadeem Harris third.

Revell’s chipped winner at Brentford was the pick of four goals given big backing in the votes.

Whittingham’s strikes against Derby away and Ipswich at home were on the list along with Kenwyne Jones’ goal against Fulham which ended an outstanding build-up.

The goal which finished runner-up was Federico Macheda’s effort at Rotherham.

Shows what an horrendous season we had if Morrison and Fabio(who has hardly played in the last 4 months)are nominated for player of the season :sladeout: :sladeout: :sladeout:

Morrison bloody hell. Wouldn't even have him in the starting 11. Suppose he is in it simply got the fact he started so many games and got a few goals.

Three defenders in for awards says it all really, dull season.
No problems with Manga 100% agree! but how can Fabio feature when he's probably been out of the season for half the season.
We need creative midfielders & exciting strikers.
