Well done to Watford FC and of course Matthew Connolly who today got promoted to the premier league after a 0-2 win at Brighton. Fair play, they were fantastic at CCS and I think they will do well in the premiership. Let's hope Kenwyne can join him in the big time with Bournemouth.

Getting promoted after having 4 managers or whatever it was in a season is remarkable and Connolly must be a lucky charm for promotion.

Thanks guys.
Really will miss the championship, best league in the world with real fans.
Connolly has been immense since he came in, much needed experience. I hope we are able to sort out a deal for him, fair for both parties.

Just shows that it isn't always a good idea to give an incompetent manager a "fair crack of the whip".
If their not up to the job (yes that means you Slade) get rid of them and replace them with someone who can.

Connolly is one of those players who is good in championship but not good enough for premier league. If he does join Watford permanently I wish him well. Good pro.

Incredible how fans were saying we wouldn't miss him as he's no better than what we've got. If you asked me to pick one reliable, consistent, dependable, versatile defender for the Championship with the correct professionalism, attitude and character, Connolly would be by number one pick by a mile. If he goes, we will massively miss him, but he deserves a fair crack in the Premiership so if he does go, I wish him well.
