New fan today?

Sat Apr 25, 2015 10:49 am

Hello all, I'm looking for a bit of advise before I leave for today's match. Before I go any further I want to explain I'm a Bristol City fan who lives in Cardiff and my daughter is 7 years old and never been to a football match. My partner is a Cardiff born lady who is not a football fan but my daughter, born in Cardiff, was given two tickets for todays game and despite saying she supports Bristol City wants to go to watch the game.
Now I know so far most Cardiff City fans will probably be thinking "don't come!" and I get that but the thing is I am a Bristol City fan because my dad took me to see them when I was younger and I loved it and I formed that desire to support Bristol City through that experience, the crowd cheering, everyone singing etc So here is the thing, I don't mind if my daughter supports Cardiff City, in fact being as they are her local team I kind of like the idea. I ant today to be an enjoyable day for her and I was wondering what time is best to start making our way in to get seated? I was also wondering what the seating is like in the front of the large stand as that's where the tickets we were given are for.

Hopefully today will be an enjoyable day for her, I'm sure I'll enjoy it too as I'm not one of your Cardiff City hating Bristol City fans, I love Cardiff and since moving here I'd never entertain leaving but I can't ever stop supporting Bristol City, I'm sure you all understand that lol

Good attitude mate.
Hope you and your daughter have a great time.
Looking forward to renewing the rivalry next season. ;)
