' VALUE FOR MONEY ON SATURDAY/BUT NOT FOR ME '

Thu Apr 23, 2015 7:46 pm

On Saturday at the Millennium Stadium an event called Judgement Day is taking place from 2.30pm.

The four regional sides are involved and it is just £10 a head to watch two matches in a row.

Blues v Ospreys followed by Dragons v Scarlets.

3 adults can watch the both games for the price of one adult ticket in the Ninian Stand :o

35,000 tickets have been sold apparently and with the games clashing with us, many city fans are going to rugby, one guy I know said I am not that much of a rugby fan but it is value for money and he has decided to make a day of it following the egg.

Carl, I dislike Rugby, but I spoke to a City fan today who told me that him,his brother and Father all Adults are going to watch the Rugby on Saturday all for £30.
He said to watch the current crap at City for £31.50p each in the Ninian Stand, no chance.

As City have said we are customers, well your customers want value for money? ? ?

City are now back virtually to just the die hards, but even we are getting fed up.

He is right Annis, the four best rugby teams in Wales for just £10, City need to buck their ideas up

From FB

Gareth Hughes Saturday will cost me 60 quid for me and my boys before travel and food/drink. Ccfc are pricing fans out.

Annis Abraham Totally agree Gareth.

I said it on another post. There is a lot of entertainment in a city the size of Cardiff.

Gone are days of blindly following. The new football fan wants value for money. It doesn't mean always winning, it just means being entertained.

£10 for top level rugby and two games is value for money and will take fans away.

I guess that overheads have to be taken into consideration here though, specifically footballers wages. Every City player will be on at least 3 to 8 times their Rugby playing counterparts and that has to be covered by us dumb fecks

The only reason iam going down the city today is.. Already paid up.
To be honest at this stage it would be great to see the rugby, but feeling again is its going to be a dire game,
shall be interesting on the reaction of some fans at the end, and if that fat useless DICK comes on and claps, iam just going to laugh :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :sladeout: :sladeout:

Excellent value if you like watching a ball bounce in funny directions but the main issue is that there will be approx 50k egg in town and getting to the bar will be a pain in the arse! :old:

Its the highest domestic level for Welsh rugby clubs. As for the quality I haven't got a Scooby.

I went with my old man in 1977 to see Cardiff Rugby because he had our next door neighbours business passes, the same year I think he took me to Chelsea ( :o :o :o ). Needless to say, only watched City since then!

Don't get all the hype for this.4 average teams at best. And the Blues are even worse than us.

Look at Wales football, £20 adult £5 kids and £5 over 65's plus they are a team people want to watch.

I was just looking at ThomasC profile photo with Rick Wright and Eddie May which made me smile - wasnt him who started getting the fans onboard with his £1 for kids offer?

I loved those days :bluescarf:
