Mason and we still talk about it today :bluebird: :bluebird:

Some of my best memories were watching City in the 70's & 80s, but the best success Ive ever seen is Cardiff City under managers Eddie May and Malky Mackay :thumbright: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Both my grandfather and uncle were there - Dad being the younger brother didn't get a ticket, even though he had what was then called a boy's ground ticket at Ninian Park.

Just think - we lost the Cup, won the Cup and only missed out on Div 1 title to Huddersfield by a tiny amount of goal average, all in the space of 2-3 seasons.

Funnily enough Dad used to say that he enjoyed the football the most when we won the old Div 3 South title just after the War.

Happy days, always makes me think of my father this subject.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Ernie Curtis. Through work I used to have a chat with him every Tuesday for a couple of years. What a great guy he was. So modest and very friendly. He was always up for a chat about the City. No wealth made from football for Ernie he worked in a warehouse until he retired. I was obviously in awe of him! Great guy our Ernie

It's hard to imagine such a heady time in our history. Hopefully, one day, such a success will be repeated. :ayatollah: :bluescarf:
