Bluebirds sign young goalkeeper for 2015/16 Season

Cardiff City Football Club is pleased to announce that Luke O’Reilly has signed a one-year professional deal with the Bluebirds.

Eighteen-year-old Luke, a promising goalkeeper, put pen to paper in the company of Russell Slade, goalkeeping coach Martyn Margetson and Club Secretary Mark Dennis at the Club’s Vale Pavilion Training Complex.

We’d like to welcome Luke to the Football Club and look forward to monitoring his development as part of our U21/DVP group.

We should see a few more this week getting contracts to move up to the under 21 development squad from the under 18 set u, well I would hope so anyway.

Hopefully, the club will invest more in the youth if cut backs in the first team are required.

Couldn't agree more Healy, Oshijali and O'sullivan should be incorporated into the first team set up next year.
