Doesn't score that many goals in the Scottish premier I.e virtual pub league.....why on earth would anyone think he could do it in the championship????

Can't see Stokes scoring many in the Championship - and although Doyle and Mason are struggling, at least they have the work-rate.

Sounds like he's a perfect fit for us.

Not sure he's a player we should bother signing. I think a manager like Dave Jones or Malky Mackay might get the best out of him but I can't imagine Russell Slade would. No offence Russell!

Im sure he has been disciplined twice by his club for openly supporting tthe IRA,and attending their functions.

There are some decent players in the SPL i'll have you know. Not many mind but not the same standard as the championship.

I don't think Stokes would set the world alight down in the championship. Would be better than Doyle though.

I've watched Celtic quite a bit this season, first off the he doesn't score enough goals is like saying noone hasn't scored enough... Stoakes has been played wide right most of this season and that's when he has played. When he was partnering hooper he scored and set up a bagful, his work rate is top notch.... But you can't expect to play a finisher on the wing and then Expect him to bag 20 goals a season. As a striker he has not got a defensive mindset so he doesn't track back for defensive cover, would be good for us for around a mill
