IF A PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB CAN DO IT/SO CAN CARDIFF CITY

Tue Apr 21, 2015 11:49 am

By a Stoke Fan Andy Hill(FB)
under 17s tickets at stoke are less than £100 for a season. It's just greed by your owners and no care

My view Annis 'We should be £50 anywhere in the ground for 16 and under,we are watching dire Championship football.'

City can still do it :thumbright:

Stoke even put on Free Coaches for their fans to all their away games. Were not asking for that,we are asking to keep our kids watching City :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

It may have escaped your notice but Stoke are in the Premier League. So they get the Sky bucks and can afford to go easy on the kids' prices.

So did we and we still do get Sky bucks :thumbright: :thumbright:

And perhaps you have not noticed thousands upon thousands of empty seats and more next season, so why not fill them with Kids? :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

We hold 33,000, Crowds of 12,000 are expected next season and even 2 or 3 games this season we have had that low.

Common sense, fill them with the future, our kids :thumbright: :thumbright:

Its called marketing and reaching out to your future fans :thumbright:

no success - empty stadium - as annis stated will remain empty - full stadium best as possible - if success comes back prices will increase slowly obviously and then you will also have kids hooked and past present and future fans flocking back at the same time

££££££££££££££££ must make sense to make a little profit than nothing @ all

It would be an excellent idea to give out free tickets to the schools, not just one or two, whole blocks even a stand, but being a good idea it won't interest the idiots who run the club at the moment

Wez, They want £260 for My 5 year and £260 for My 9 year old in the Ninian Stand for dire football, its a disgrace.

I have paid for My 14 year old and Myself nearly £700 for the both in the Ninian Stand.

How long have Stoke been in premier? They can afford to do it can we? I agree Its great having full stadium but how many kids do we give cheap ST to? Only got look at empty family section to see lost revenue if get premie thousands of adult tickets cannot be bought as stadium full of kids or half empty family section. Just putting another argument to post! : personally doesnt matter to me we can have 20k kids and full stadium but what about medium/ long term cash income from adults for club?
ps it is to expensive for kids ST at moment and prices should be dropped ,

Agree it's too much in there but 50 pound is too low

The club needs a long term strategy. What is the future? Kids. Invest in them now and you'll have a generation of supporters coming back for more. There are nowhere near enough deals or incentives to persuade parents to spend the money to take their kids to Cardiff games every week.

Offering £100 per season ticket for under 16s is a great idea. Not the most financially lucrative idea but it will increase attendances and is better than no sales. The club isn't in a position where it has limited numbers. It has excess stock and needs to sell at a cut price if it wants to sell it at all.

If the club encourages kids to watch this crap I'm going to report them to the NSPCC.

If truth be known 30 to 40% of no shows at games is from family stand! and if you give even more kids cheap ST tickets the ground will still only be 1\4full at games. As kids don't go midweek games!

West Ham announced today the season ticket prices for when they move to the Olympic Stadium all prices will be cut by 25% and under 16s will be £99 anywhere in the ground , not that I have kids (yet) but why our club can't do cheaper tickets when many Premier League clubs can. Better having a full ground than a half empty ground

100 million at least from sky tv money is why they can

Because they will have minimum £100m pounds plus huge profit from selling Upton park, and very cheap rent! That's why they can
Do it!

Plus kids don't attend midweek games so still have half empty ground 50%of time even with more of them. :o

It's easy

Empty seats= no £££££

Bums on seats=££££££

Even if it's only £50 it's better than feck all.

also we still have Prem Parachute , if we filled the ground I could understand but surely it's better having 3 kids in the ground say at £99 each (so £297 ) than having just 1 kid in for the £250 -£300 (or whatver it is ) we need to fill the ground

What will happen?

If they cut the season tickets in half for price, and end up selling twice as many, then there's no money lost.

Gotta find that balance for supply and demand. Demand will always be lower when the football is worse, and when the supply is more limited (in this case, season tickets being too expensive).

Poor business.
