Bolton Wanderers boss believes on-loan Cardiff City striker can get better

“Alfie is in a rich vein of form right now,”

“He’s been scoring a lot of goals at home recently, so we challenged him to score away from home and he’s done that now.

“Eight goals in 15 games is a brilliant return and I think he’s really enjoying his football with us.

Le Fondre scored in Bolton Wanderers’ 2-2 draw with Brentford on Saturday at Griffin Park, in a game that was undoubtedly more important to Mark Marburton’s Brentford side.

The result left Neil Lennon’s men in 17th position in the Sky Bet Championship, having accrued 51 points from 44 league games this season.

After missing a sitter against Millwall I thought he could only get better. Pity I was wrong. Unlike Annis who is never wrong.
