Adedeji Oshilaja.

Whether Slade or a new manager is in charge next season I would like to see a few of the youngsters in the first team. One of those young players, who I feel will be a real star in the future is Adedeji Oshilaja (SP?). I have been hearing some good things about him. For quite a bit of this season he has been on loan at AFC Wimbledon, under the guidance of our old Academy Manager Neal Ardley. Neal rates him very highly and thinks that he is way too good to be playing League 2 football and he should be getting more games for us in the Championship. Obviously he knows Ade very well, after managing him while he was our Academy Mansger a few years ago. I agree with Ardley too, as I have seen him play quite a few times and he has always impressed me. Adedeji is strong, fast, good in the air, committed, determined and I think he could be a real hidden gem for us and go on to have a great career, hopefully with us. If Manga goes, which I think that he probably will - even though we would receive a pretty hefty fee for him, which we could use to recruit our own players - and Connolly more than likely goes too. It will leave us with just Turner and Morrison - who I do not rate. So we could start playing Adedeji and have him as one of the two replacement central defenders that we would need if we sold Manga and Connolly. We should look more St using some of the younger players, as the Academy is one of the most important things at the club. We should be producing and bringing into the first team a lot more younger and Academy graduates and hopefully we can bring them on and make them better players, which will be a positive for the first team and possibly for the coffers, if we produce enough quality players that are so good that other big clubs come in for them.

Bloooooobirds.
