..totally pissed off with watching crap football and no atmosphere in the stadium. I've not been one of the "Slade Out" brigade since the day he arrived, like many others on here. I've been prepared to give him a chance and must admit there have been times when I thought he was steadying the ship, but the truth is we are bloody awful. Our football is boring and we never look like winning a game even against rubbish opposition. To be fair Slade has had a massive task thrust upon him, basically having to clear out the unwanted players from two previous managers against a background of cost cutting but I think Tan has a huge decision to make just after the end of the season. Can he afford to give Slade another transfer window knowing that failure is going to lead to a yet another new manager and another player clearout and further recruitment in January and another failed season with ever dwindling crowds?

Tan believed that he went for a big name manager in Solskjaer and that failed so he decided to try and find an unknown gem. This decision is not working either, but Tan's mistake is that Solskjaer was not a big name manager, he was a big name PLAYER. There's a massive difference.

We need a proper manager like Pullis, Neil Lennon, Steve Clarke, all available when we appointed Slade but now all gone. Anyone who has managed at a decent level and who commands respect and knows his way around the transfer market is what we need and quick. :bluescarf:
