' What a Terrible way to finish Our Season? '

Surely Slade does not want to finish our season with this kind of record.

We are currently 19 points from the play -offs and 28pts from 2nd place
Link
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=145418

And 2 Home wins from our last 13 home games

Also this Season the Championship has been the weakest for many years.

Yesterday we once again played one of the worst teams Millwall in the Division with one of the worst away records, not only could we not beat them, but we actually could not create much and at times MIllwall looked like winning.

Thankfully next week we have bottom of the table Blackpool at home and then Forest away who have nothing to play for,so perhaps we can finish with at least 4pts?

How the hell can Russell Slade keep saying we are improving under him? ? ?

maybe blackpool can do us a favour by turning us over, just to show how poor we are and what little effort is now being made by all involved... :ayatollah:

Jason, at present I believe the sales are at an all time low for this stadium, one of the first things to do to get them to improve would be to sack him :thumbright:

Sorry to say but Slade simply has to go. We couldn't beat a bottom 3 team yesterday who were awful themselves. Slade simply cannot motivate the players nor has he got the tactical nous to try and change a game. I am glad he didn't do the press conference yesterday saying how we are a work in progress and we are improving as I can no longer stand his pathetic clichés and excuses. At the moment we are terrible and if we have to endure this type of football under him next season then more fans will dessert the club in droves and the fans will make it very uncomfortable for him. The leadership at our club has to do something and do something real soon. We need a real motivator and someone with a good grasp of how to change and even set us up at the start of a game tactically wise. Yesterday was dire........ how much more do us fans have to endure? :bluescarf:

Well its down to one man now Tan,he employed him and only he will sack him.
Funny thing is,Tan does not have to watch it like we do.
Im glad Slade never spouted his shite once again yesterday.

Scott Young pointed out that the team looked leggy because they had played 5 games in 14 days, then why play the same players week in week out  We have a big enough squad, nothing to play for so why not try something new? The Orient lads told me last week, that Slade would do everything to keep picking the same eleven players, even if others deserved an opportunity, he is just a steady eddy mediocre manager, who thinks success is not getting relegated. We will be lucky to achieve mid table mediocrity next season, the writing is on the wall that if the owner continues with this way of running the club and with this manager, then we are the next 'big' club to drop down two divisions

So have other clubs played that many games.
We havent even played any of the youngsters or like you say given other players a chance? ?

I am with you on your post and its frightening what could happen to us.

You did warn us.

One shot on target also against a poor team yesterday?

That is the worst fact for me.

Shocking.

Jules, I cant believe it was virtually the same team that played away to Ipswich on Tuesday night.

It is remarkable how the home form and performances are in complete contrast to our away form.

And to think only a while ago we couldn't get a point for love nor money away from home.

Consistency is a big problem for this team and it is something Slade has been unable to find or put right.

Some will argue we have been consistent by being inconsistent

On what do you base that this is the weakest Championship in many years?

Normally teams come down from the Prem and compete and go back up or top half at least. This year two are in the bottom half well out of it.

This year 8th place have 72 points with two games remaining. Last year and any of the last 8 years that would have got you in the play offs at the end of the season. The season before when we won the title 68 would have got you a play off place. 75 which Ipswich (who are 6th) have with two games remaining would have got you a top 4 place many seasons of the last 8 that I have looked at. It's even been as low as 65 to get top 6. It's conceivable that Blackburn in 9th can get 65 this year as they have 60 with three remaining.

It's not weaker this year in fact the stats prove it's stronger we are weaker.

Yeah very true, it really has to be addressed in the summer cos its home form that wins you leagues,

We proved that the season we went up to the Premier League.

Seems a distant memory now.

When was the last time city won 4 nil
It's quite some time and I bet during that time we played teams at the bottom of the league
So to expect us to beat Blackpool 4 nil is plain stupid :bluescarf:

Yes what has been there last 3 results since relegation?

So you rate Blackpool do you?

OOPS Blackpool have lost 3 out of 3 games since relegation and conceded 8 goals, lost 4 nil in midweek.

I just don't expect us to win by unrealistic margins :bluescarf:
