Rather than playing to win.
Even when we were in the lower divisions and didn't play well at least the fight or effort was there
Away days for me next season a more enjoyable match day experience.

He reminds me of a bygone era, well before the 80's football he plays.
It was when managers were in their job for years, 1 named sub, a group of 14 pro's. They all knew their position turned up every week and gave it a go. Refs were all "homers" everybody played 424, with heavy leather balls and little pitch maintenance.
Fans turned up to support the boys but paid in today's money a fiver to stand up and a tenner to sit down, kids were passed down to the front. The top players would earn about £2K a week.
Those simpler days have long gone. We expect a lot more.
He doesn't have a strategy, have a group of 16, play your best 11 players in a 442 and hope something happens.
He is filling a position at the club, is he effective ? Of course not.
