Chris Hughes, the Newtown Manager is putting sterling efforts into organising pre-season friendlies already. With the season still running, he has already arranged the visit of Cardiff City to Paveaways Latham Park.
The Cardiff City XI will consist of a mixture of Reserves, Under 23 and Youth players with the majority of the side from the team run by Welsh International Craig Bellamy and former Port Talbot Manager, Jarred Harvey.
The friendly game will take place on Saturday 1st August at 2.30pm as a Premiership side is also being targeted for a friendly. (More to follow).

City are considering some where like Scotland? as our budget is very low.

I shall be deep into pedalling across Cambodia at that stage, though shall try and keep in tune to see how it's going or not going
