" What the managers say ahead of Cardiff City/Millwall this Saturday. "
Cardiff: Russell Slade has encouraged unity between the club and its supporters in the aftermath of the Cardiff City Supporters Trust’s request for the club to improve its engagement with the fans.
Slade said: “You do want everybody trying to pull in the same direction. That’s important for any success. My priority is the football, the players and dealing with that. Any off-the-field thing has to be dealt with by the relevant parties.”
Millwall: Interim manager Neil Harris is confident his side can avoid relegation. “If the players continue to perform like they are then we have a chance,” said Harris, whose job could be made a little easier if relegation rivals Rotherham are deducted points for fielding an ineligible player.
He added: “I came in with the initial task of trying to put a belief back into the squad that was a little bit low because results had not been great. There is a good bunch of fellas in that dressing room that just needed a little guidance.”
