A forum for all things Cardiff City

When Slade joined Cardiff we were 14th, 5 points off play-offs and 1 point ahead of Bournemouth.
His first game in charge was a 2-1 win against Forest, moving us to 12th and 4 points off playoffs. In this game, of the 14 players that were used, only 4 have left.
Since then, we have dropped to our lowest league position of 17th since 2004, winning only 10 of 32 league games.
We have been drip fed by him throughout the season that we can still make the playoffs.
Then it was we can make the top 10.
Then it was we can finish in the top half of the table.
Just recently, he has said he can get us back to the Premier League.
I have absolutely no faith in this guy doing Cardiff City any good.

What's the record with Trollope being introduced to the management staff?

The Forest game was a Saturday lunchtime, where were we after the programme of games at 3pm?
We are currently 13th, considering the amount of upheaval that isn't too bad,

Pretty sure Ole got us down to 17th in 2014

Think back to when we beat Watford away back in Nov when we were 6th and only 3 points off Derby who were then top I think ??

Were we a point ahead of Bournemouth?

We were 17th when Ole got sacked on 8 points which was the same as Bournemouth, won two drew two and lost three to wolves, Norwich and boro.

Crikey. That's changed a lot hasn't it.

Your 'facts' are wrong for a start And considering the amount of shit gone in with players in and out and not knowing where they stand, the spirit or lack of spirit and structure in the squad under ole and we've done well not to get relegated. All things considered we've done ok our club is a mess and it was in a worse mess in 2014

How on earth can anyone make judgement on progression under slade? Is it in relation to ole ? The team when slade started? League position when he came? All are irrelevant as lost most talented players throughout season also he had no number 2 either! Is there any manager who would have got us promoted whilst dealing with everything that has happened at city? Mmmm dont think so, progress can only be measured next season when it will be his team his players and proper pre season,.

How many teams have we seen do a double relegation? I think we're very lucky to be where we are and that is thanks to Dalamann, Slade, Choo, Trollope and all the playing staff.
The passionate players for this team were released in favour of players with half their heart and treble their wages.
Biggest screw up this season was letting Hudson go.
We have always loved the passion that our players have shown over the years, we lost that in our premier league season and are only now getting It back.
well done to all that are still supporting, and will still be there next year!
