' Anthony Pilkington will be a big influence next season '
Anthony Pilkington has been out for five months, but now he’s back and that’s great news for City.
Pilkington was growing in confidence and his quality was starting to show when he was injured in November. Now he’s back and will play a major role in Slade’s team for 2015-16.
He will start in at least one of City’s remaining three Championship matches and that will be a big step forward after so long out.

Remains to be seen - the jury is still out.

I thought that he started playing well, and the team seemed to go downhill when he got injured

agreed!
Injury prone is a label he came with. When he was injured at Watford I thought 6 weeks.... not 5 months.
We had soldiers in Afghanistan lose limbs and recover quicker than that. Fact.
When he came on though he offered a bit more and looked fairly sharp. Lets see whata good pre season will do for him but I remain to be convinced by his medical staus to enter the fray!

Yeah, even if he finds his form again it appears he is injury prone. If we can keep him fit then he'll be a good player for us but I'm doubtful he can stay 100% fit.

Pilkington is just another in the long list of disastrous signings. And I bet the list will soon get longer
