Fabio last night

Had one of his more inconsistent games last night.

Started on the right of midfield ( - where did that come from?) , gave the ball away a lot, made a few good runs down the wing without much end product and then was extremely lucky not to be sent off after completely losing his head after a clash with the Ipswich full back.

I couldn't see what happened exactly after he clattered the guy but someone said that the Ipswich boy put his head on Fabio and that's why he reacted like he did by chasing after him.

Did anyone see what happened?

Also you have to ask whether any professional footballer should be incapable of hitting the target from the position Fabio found himself in at the end of the first half. I know he's really a defender but surely anyone who makes a living from kicking a ball should be able to muster better than the unbelievably poor effort made by Fabio?

And the same applies to Gunnarsson's miss in the second half - no excuse really for either just a lack of the basic skills required as a minimum for someone being paid thousands of pounds a week for "doing" their job.

Poor game by his standards and burn out for me.

Harris should have started or Sullivan, playing a defender in midfield is troublesome.

Fabio prefers his right foot but can use his left, that's what I have been led to believe anyway.

Why Kennedy or Harris aren't getting game time ahead of a full back or Noone in pointless games is head scratchingly worrying.
