Bristol City Promoted

Fair play to them, really did it in style with a thumping 9-6 win at Bradford tonight. Can't wait for the away game at their place, gone to that fixture since I was six. Always loads of city fans there and the noise is class.
Fair play to Bristol City, they cruised the league this year and from January onwards I had no doubt they were going up.

9-6

The only bad thing is that the old away end has been knocked down :(

Meant 6-0!
That's a shame, liked that old fashioned stand.

The furniture in the pubs in Cardiff is currently quaking as it awaits the fixture list.

They are hitting the championship with lots of momentum. Wouldn't surprise me if they chalange for a top6 Finnish next season....maybe even top2. Hate to say it, but there seems to be a real good vibe around that club now. Relegation to league 1 has done them the world of good by the looks of things

They have a solid squad with youth and experience, top strike force who could tear the Championship apart, they will do well next season, scary thought mind.

It could be just like the last time they got promoted - didn't they get to the play-off final in their first season following promotion from League 1?

I hated that old stand - like looking at the game through a letter box! Seats were just stuck onto benches and the queue for a cup of tea at half time was miles long as the kiosk was tiny!

Also the scoreboard was on the roof of that stand - remember having to call home at half time during the 6-0 win a few years ago to find out what the score was at half time as I'd lost count and couldn't see the scoreboard!

The missus took a lot of persuading that I was actually at the game!

All of that is what made the experience so much better, that old stand was 10 times better than any modern football stadium, we would always create a great atmosphere under that little roof
