' POLICE FREE '

Tue Apr 14, 2015 7:40 pm

Tonight's game was deemed a police free game and South Wales Police were told not to travel as there is no need.

Good news and another step in the right direction and shows that City fans have and continue to move forward and there is no need for us to be treated like we would have been at Leeds.

We prove time and time again that restrictions on City fans travelling really should be a thing of the past.

Three days after we were meant to be going mob handed with violent hooligans to Leeds with West Yorkshire Police wondering how they were going to cope, we go even further away to Ipswich without a hint of trouble and a police force who sensibly realized that the game could pass without any heavy handedness on their part.

Just goes to show if you treat people with a bit of respect then usually you'll get it back.

Leeds and Ipswich - chalk and cheese.

Even our stewards who travelled were told that they were not needed on duty last night
