" Cardiff City Stadium rated seventh-best in Championship in new league table of grounds "
The Bluebirds' home was complimented for its space, access and views from all parts of the ground but food at the ground was said to be 'over-priced'

Cardiff City Stadium has been ranked the seventh-best in the Championship in a new guide aimed at giving travelling fans an insight into what they can expect when following their team.
The league table of Championship stadiums gives fans the lowdown on a range of different factors including which stadiums have the best views, the best facilities - including disabled facilities - and which grounds offer most leg room.
It has been compiled by BuildingMaterials.co.uk, suppliers of building materials for both trade and DIY, in collaboration with ToThe92.co.uk, the site which visited all 92 of England’s Football League stadiums in order to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Of the Bluebirds' home, it complimented the space, access and view from all parts of the ground but said that food at the ground was on the costly side.
It said: "Built just six years ago and only a few hundred yards from the old Ninian Park ground, the new stadium is exactly as you would expect. Good legroom, good acoustics, great facilities and disabled areas, although the food outlets are a little over-priced.
"Sight lines are perfect from all areas and concourses are of decent size to allow easy access in and out for a large number of people. There is a large scoreboard in one corner opposite the main stand.
"Transport wise, there's a large car park and a train station just a few hundred yards away. Commemorating the club’s history, outside the stadium there are the entrance gates that once welcomed visiting players and officials to Ninian Park.
"Beside the gates is a plaque in remembrance of Scotland and Celtic Manager Jock Stein who passed away at Ninian Park shortly after a Wales v Scotland World Cup Qualifying game in 1985."
Cardiff City won the Family Club of the Year at the Football league Awards in 2011 and 2013 where it was praised for its family-friendly ethos and the game day experience it provided for all supporters, including away fans.
In the new league table of the 24 Championship stadiums, it was Derby County's iPro Stadium which was in top spot, with Rotherham United's New York Stadium in second and Brighton's Amex Stadium in third.

I don't know about the price of food but the price of a pint is extortinate. Plus - the lager is of questionable quality. That is putting it in the most polite way that I can think off. Like P**s might be more accurate.
Anyway - back to listening to Radio Wales.
