It is Whitts' 2nd MOTM performance of the season, and only five players have had more MOTM performances. This week he picked up 29% of the vote, with Aron Gunnarsson narrowly behind on 21%.

The staggering thing for me is that Fabio is anywhere near Manga.

I think Fabio's performances range from the extremely good to extremely bad meaning he gets a high amount of votes for the good games he has.
If he can become more defensively consistent without losing too much of his work rate, passion and attacking zeal then he would be a player of the season candidate for sure.

That's a sound explanation which I fully accept. Trouble I've got is that Fabio's extremely bad games resonate with me far more than his extremely good ones.

You can go off reports, and it would suggest Whittingham was MOM, set up two goals (well in hockey terms he did)
linked well with Mason.

I'm a big fan of Whitts, but wouldn't vote unless I'd actually seen the game. Report s can differ widely. On a separate point.....Fabio? One great performance all season, the rest incredibly erratic.

My point is I didn't watch the game I can't comment who was motm
Reporters can have different views on games to us so therefore
You can be agreeing with someone just because he/she was there
