Possibly could have done it for the Boro and Norwich games too, but better than nothing.
There needs to be more done to reconnect the fans and the club, a small gesture like this should be just the start

Tim, I do want our club to be closer with our fans again, but a lot of damage has been done,so its going to take a long time,a lot of hard work, plus plenty of honesty

Agreed Annis.
I think there is willingness there now as well and a change in attitude from the top.
From our side though we need to welcome and encourage gestures like this to show that the fans want to move forward too

geez! Some fans are just too hard to please! If tan offered to pay for the ticket as well, there would still be people moaning.

I agree with this and bridges need to be built.
The rebrand was a disaster and I believe the fans deserve an apology. However I believe we are going to have to settle for Tan walking around the pitch in blue as the apology.

What like returning us to blue and changing the badge back?
Anything else?
What about on our part? It's a two way street.

Yeah it's all small steps. I will never be a fan of tan or forget about the way he treated/talked about us but at the same time I'm happy he and the club have started to realise they need to listen to us.

Th man has done a LOT of things that are wrong... That's for damn sure
But even when he does a nice gesture like this he still gets shot down?! Absolutely I agree that when he gets things wrong, the rebrand, the lack of respect in the past, have a go at him for that. But having a pop at him for saving travelling fans money is just absurd.
