Home Gate Receipts

I was talking to my dad about this and don't know the answer. When a team plays at home do they keep all of the gate money or do they have to share any of it with the away team and the FA? I think the FA Cup is split 50/50 or 45/45 with 10% going to the FA. Thanks

You and stringfellow are both correct. You in full as the home team does keep it's own gate receipts for a league game, and stringfellow as that indeed used to be the case 75/25% split, though I'm unsure when it changed, think it was late 70's.

Home teams keep all the money in the league ,in the cup it's split
