Anyone changed their minds?

Having spoken to Orient players, I'm convinced he will never take us up! He is obviously capable of steadying a ship, but that's about his limit IMO

So I would prefer us get someone in who is either young and ambitious like Carl Robinson or an experienced manager like Mick McCarthy, who been there and done it. Most won't agree with me, but I think that Phil Brown, still has a lot to offer.

No.
And no.

I think the way he has turned us around , just starting to get his backroom team together he deserves another chance to see what he can do with a summer transfer window .
I think he would. Be under huge pressure next season if we were not top 6 at Xmas though and that is when he will leave imo

Slades out now.He is a clown. He will never improve the football at City . Mediocre rubbish. I want to see committed players, playing for a manager with a footballing brain and a desire to win. Slade is a puppet and out of his depth . If he stays we will sink to his level, division one.

I think we should give him the chance next season, especially with the summer signings and out goings, we all know Tan is cost cutting and Slade is his man to steady the ship. If would love to see a more experienced manager at City but realistically who would come in the current situation?
I just hope Slade can find some way of getting a run of results together at home and gain the backing of the fans. It's going to be another tough season ahead and if we can make the playoffs it will be a bonus.

My view on him hasn't changed at all. I don't think he is a manager who can take this club forward. I am not judging him on end of season results, which often come up with some strange scorelines, particularly when clubs have nothing to play for. I don't think we should read too much into the win yesterday, just the same as we shouldn't give him a slating for losing at home to Bolton. These are typical results that happen at this stage of the season with nothing much to play for.
Having said that, there is probably no point in changing the manager, because whoever comes in will be working mainly with free transfers and one or two cheap buys. Next season will be all about survival, and can we get someone in who would be any better than Slade if it's just about stabilising us, and hopefully avoiding relegation.

yep changed my mind completely, definately and most seriously don't want him anywhere near our club as manager, let him sit on Tan's knee as his poodle and run the debt cutting in his other industries.
Trollpe's doing all the work, and that's from the players!!

Annis, I don't think he should even stay for the rest of the season!
The quicker he is replaced, the quicker his successor can settle in and start to work on the transfer market. If he leaves now, Trollope will keep things ticking over.
This season is old news now. Press on for the next campaign in my opinion.

No, Slade should def not be our manager next season.

A no from me. End of season matches where teams are coasting prove nothing to me.I think we have a team that should be doing a lot better than we are , his team selection is poor and performances the worst since I've been going down , which is from 1970. His tactic are stuck in a time warp.

I hope he goes purely from the shoddy football we play but who in their right mind would want to manage our mess of a club.

He can balance the books and deliver on the cut-backs for Tan, he can probably keep us in the Championship next year.
Fans won't turn up if they continue to play one-dimensional boring football, so it's up to Tan what he wants for the club, but my opinion is that the fans are the lowest priority

Mmmm you be surprised who will take a job in football? There are worse clubs than ours who attract good managers!
