Unforgettable day

Forgot Cohen scored two that day. What we'd give for a Paul Ramsey right now a great leader and captain and moustache. Great day great couple of weeks with the two Wrexham trips sunny and then the Welshcup win to top It off

I was in the stand behind the goals that day. From what I remember that was usually the stand where most of the vocal Scunthorpe supporters usually went, but we took so many supporters that day Scunthorpe had to change their normal crowd control system. Seemed as if three sides of the ground were full of City supporters, and the services on the motorway on the way up were all full of our boys as well. Half the cars on the motorway seemed to have blue and white scarves dangling out the windows. A great away day, although slightly spoiled on the way back when we passed a mini bus carrying city supporters had overturned on the motorway. Thankfully, I don't think there were any serious injuries.

I dug out the DVD its a bit tempremental but plays through.

Watching the city fans in fancy dress running onto the pitch is funny as and what football used to be about.

A superb day. Scunthorpe was invaded! I remeber travelling up from Colchester in the car, a good greasey spoon on the A1 and a few beers from an offie! The pitch invasion at the end was amazing. We were on the march then with Rick Wright and Eddie.
