Owain, you are correct in what you write here...
Wales struggles to cope within the UK and simply could not be the wonderful place (Swansea apart

) that it is without EU support to fill the gaps that London and (latterly) the Labour-led Welsh Assembly are allowing to widen!
Each Party should be embarrassed at its own failings in Wales and it leaves a dilemma as to who to actually vote for...
Should it be Labour for more of the same let-downs despite them being "the Party of the people"?
Should it be the Conservatives, who have already vowed to cut budgets and services (outside London, of course) across the UK and have enforced the Barnett Formula on us?
Should it be Plaid Cymru, who would literally s**t themselves if ever they were allowed into office, as we have little to offer in an independent Wales other than tourism and (admittedly exceptional but nowadays limited) light industry and farming!
Note: At this point, I will praise local Plaid Councillors who, in the main, are very good in their communities but that does not transfer to the different world of national and international politics!Should it be UKIP? More 'flawed' policies than a 'Military Junta' Election Manifesto and little or no chance of gaining anything other than a 'protest' vote!
I'll leave it to others to work out who they should vote for and keep my own intentions to myself. However, I will say that my vote will go to the person who offers to do more for his/her community rather than sitting smugly at Westminster nodding like 'Churchill the Dog' whilst their Party leaders play "Keep up with the Francois and the Jurgen's in Europe and slowly give away any rights this country (UK to) has of dictating its own policy and future!
A tough call for anyone who votes and in wales this election will be tougher than most before them!
