A forum for all things Cardiff City

There's an official statement on the Leeds United website about the absence of away fans tomorrow - could someone post a link please as I am

and don't know how to do it!
They say they are "disappointed" that there will be no Cardiff fans at the game tomorrow -
What a bunch of wankers!
They make no attempt to explain why they only offered 1000 tickets initially or why they then cut that to 500. Hiding behind the Football League ( a spineless bunch of scrotes) and the West Yorkshire Police ( we all know what they are but best not to say it as they're probably monitoring this board!) and saying that they treat supporter safety as their main concern!
No evidence of potential trouble, no mention of unrestricted travel for their neanderthals this season, no real trouble in past fixtures, no attempt to explain their decision.
I REALLY hope they are treated the same way by Cardiff next season.

The club is disappointed to announce that there will be no supporters at Elland Road from Cardiff City at this Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture.
Cardiff City Football Club were originally offered 1,000 tickets as part of a voucher to ticket exchange including a new escorted coach system for their family season ticket groups. This was rejected by Cardiff City who declined the 1,000 tickets offered.
After further consideration Leeds United offered Cardiff City Football Club 500 tickets with unrestricted travel. Late on Wednesday April 8 Cardiff City notified Leeds United that they did not wish to take up the second offer of 500 tickets unescorted, and that no supporters would travel to Leeds for the Championship fixture at Elland Road.
Leeds United have consulted with West Yorkshire Police and The Football League regarding this matter and Leeds United will continue to work with Cardiff City to try and reach a mutually agreeable solution for next season’s fixtures, both at Elland Road and at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Leeds United has always put the safety management of spectators at the forefront of their planning. With no away supporters at Elland Road on Saturday the club are expecting a unique atmosphere, and would like to encourage as many Leeds United supporters to attend to support the team.

They still haven't said why
Leeds United are scumbags the whole club and the supporters
They still think they are a cut above everyone else
Still living on their past glories
Never liked them since they turned down a £75,000 world record bid for John Charles and 2 months later sold him for £65,000 to Juventus
Bastards the lot of them

There was an agreement in place. Cardiff kept to their side while Leeds went back on theirs. No mention of that in the article.

And according to the City statement, Leeds have also refused a beam back to the CCS. Horrible little backwards club with supporters to match. Shithole.

Your reputation comes and bites you all in the arse, maybe instead of blaming Leeds you should blame all the "ex hooligans " who gave cardiff a bad name in the past.

Stop living in the past and give your bitter and twisted Jack attitude a rest.
