Can some explain the Langston debt

Fri Apr 10, 2015 11:16 am

Please. I haven't got a clue what is going on, who owes what to who and why?.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32240541 was yesterday.

In the simplest terms?.

I think only one person truly knows and that's Sam but he wont/doesn't want to say.

City owes 15m or is it 24m or is it even 36m? Feel free to add you own amount as no one knows for definate! It is owed to invincible men known as Langston who has Sam as their front man!! That's about it really can't even remember why Sam borrowed it for club in 1st place? :o

Sam spent shit loads of money that we all assumed was his personal investment in the club. He also paid his company, on behalf of CCFC, a significant amount of money each year as an admin / management fee.

Then when it all went wrong he it became evident that all the money Sam had spent was actually just loaned from this company Langstone which is no doubt owned by Sam. We were duped by a conman.

It was Sam that started the rot that led to Tan.

And unfortunately Tan is doing the same thing with loaning the club/company more money

I remember why Allan its got us where we was when he left, the championship, then the riddler took over and we got tan doing the same thing at the current moment although on a much bigger scale of debt. If it's 100million or 6million owed it makes no difference as we don't have it in our pockets to give, tan does

I agree about being debt-free but even the most successful clubs have debts. It is more to do with turnover and perceived success measured by league and cup performance. If CCFC had survived the first year in the PL, Tan would have been happy to plough more in with the promise of huge income. That didn't happen but could in the future. I'm no fan of Tan so in a way, a couple of years in 2nd tier might be a good thing.

Langston just hangs round like a nasty smell. Sam was a real weasel in my opinion.
