-Russell Slade has backed the fans' boycott of Leeds but admits it makes it tough for his team
-Slade says Alex Revell and Federico Macheda are missing but Conor McAleny could return
-On next season, Slade says: "All players are in my plans other than a few who are out of contract."
What are your thoughts on the Cardiff City fans boycott?
Unusual, that’s for sure. Our fans have been fantastic on the road and we will miss that. It will be strange. Unusual having no fans in stadium but we have to deal with that.
I understand why the club are backing the fans. Leeds had 2,000-plus tickets at our stadium.
There hasn’t been any crowd trouble between clubs for a long, long time.
We go into that stadium and none of our fans there, but we want a response anyway after Bolton defeat We need the right result for our supporters.
In any situation if you have an amount of support behind you it helps the team. Of course it makes a difference but we go about the job professionally and work hard to get a result.
There were a few broken hearts in our dressing room after Bolton defeat along with a few injury niggles after two games in three days.
Hopefully we will be okay.
What is the injury situation heading into the Leeds game?
Kagisho Dikgacoi and Anthony Pilkington are playing for the Development team at Sheffield United today and Scott Young is going to watch them.
Ben Turner will play in the game at Colchester on Monday.
Pilkington is the closest to first team football, looking at Tuesday and onwards.
All players are in my plans for next season other than a few who are out of contract.
What happens with Kenwyne Jones and Matt Connolly next season?
They are contracted to this club and a decision would have to be made that suited all parties if that was to change.
What about Declan John?
That was a football decision. Declan needed to get games. I have had reports on him and looking for another in the next 24 hours. He is doing fine.
He is not somebody I am contemplating losing in the summer.
The decision for him to go out on loan came because we have had Scott Malone, Fabio and Lee Peltier in that position.
Declan’s games would have been restricted.
He is playing 90 minutes a game at Barnsley and at this stage of his career that is more useful to him.
I watched Declan play for the Wales under 21s and he did fine.
He showed his hunger to want to get minutes on the pitch.
He traveled to Israel but still played for the under 21s. That was an example of his hunger.
I am pleased he is playing for Barnsley regularly and the under-21s, while he is in Chris Coleman’s plans.
What would you say to fans who are fed up at the moment?
Everybody is entitled to their opinion and that’s how it should be.
I always try to explain that as we go through transition there will be ups and downs.
There have not been too many downs recently.
At Bolton it was a well taken first goal, but 2-0 and 3-0 killed us.
When I came in I knew it was a big job. With 38 players it was inevitable there would be a lot of movement, which there was in the January window.
We could not get all the work done in one 30 day period.
We are going to need the summer to continue that process.
Things will settle down a lot more with a good pre-season under our belts.
The owner and chairman have really supported me.
They know mistakes have been made in the past and there was a need to have to get club on level footing, regroup and rebuild.
They support that wholeheartedly.
What about Federico Macheda and Conor McAleny? Any chance of seeing them at Leeds?
Macheda no - he won’t be in squad. We have to be careful with spine and back problems.
McAleny yes. He was in training today and should be in tomrrow's squad.

With Slade`s style of football if he`s managing next season players will have to get used to limited fans at our stadium too

Yes, you managed to reduce the squad by ONE player. Giving players away for free, bying new ones of lesser standard.
Watched my first ever sweedish league game yesterday. 23k crowds and comentators laughing at you for that one
That was a jumping and singing stadium. Great Job Slade! Truly great
