Derby,boro,wolves,brentford,ipswich,forest,blackburn,charlton.
Add bristol city in as teams do well when they come up.
Add say leicester, qpr, hull as teams that come down.
That is 12 very good teams to compete with in this league to go up and doing that with an ordinary manager at best in slade we have got no chance in going up and beating them teams to promotion next season, we need a quality manager at the helm to give us that chance.
Surely the "give slade a chance/he needs more time" fans must see that we are wasting our time with slade and hes better off getting sacked now and get someone in who can try and do a better job than slade?
We are fucked and doomed for mid table again under slade, i would rather get experienced manager in or even gamble on someone like ribeiro because it could be a hell of an appointment and he cant be much worse than slade if it dosent pay off so whats the point in wasting our time with slade? Opinions?
And who honestly believes slade can win us promotion next season?

Knowone gave Brentford and Bournemouth a chance this year. You never know what can happen given a transfer window to work in. I'm not saying Slade is my choice but he's worked under tight restraints and steadied the ship because let's face it, we were in free fall before his appointment. Stranger things have happened in football and it wouldn't surprise me if we make a few decent signings then we could be up there next year.

Slade took over and we beat a Nottingham forest side playing well and beat them convincingly. Slade inherited a terrible squad , a squad assembled by Solskjaer costing millions. Now slade was told and rightly so, to trim the squad down and recoup money wasted on players. I really don't know how fans can moan when he has had his hands tied from day one. I agree performances haven't been great and at times have been dreadful, but I honestly believe we have picked up as of late and the Bolton result was a one-off. I think given a decent transfer budget, we can buy some quality and be up there next year. His signings so far haven't set the world alight but none of them have been poor in my opinion. Imagine if he was given some decent money to spend. Some of our fans are expecting Slade to walk on water and perform miracles.

You seem so positive but how do you explain slades shit football, and shit tactics and player selection?
Why does he keep selecting under performing players in whitts noone gunnarson and not giving anyone else a chance?
Why does he leave kennedy out our most creative player who can look to make things happen when hes been playing well?
A decent manager would have done hell of a lot better than slade has done, look at the turnaround in norwich, they had a new manager come in and their transition period was them turning into a mid table side to a top 2 side. Our transition period hasent shown any transition we are still a mediocre mid table side, slades transition bullshit chat seems to be working and having the desired effect on you fella..

The stats say it all. We were not in free fall, we are in the same position now as we were then! Slade has taken us backwards with the worse football seen for at least a decade. It has been abysmal and that's why 5K ticket holders are not turning up to the games. Yes his hands have been tied but all he is doing is bringing in League 1 freebies. This squad under Slade are likely to be bottom 6 next season.
slades taken us nowhere as he as lost several top players ! We are where we are and considering whats gone on that is not bad! Football maybe substandard but hardly surprising! Fri Apr 10, 2015 9:43 pm

Yes we might not be spending loads of money no more but that dosent mean we cant succeed, money isnt everything!
Look at bournemouth swansea two great examples of clubs who have done very well with no money, but the reason they done well is that they employed very good managers!
Slade isnt a good manager and money isnt everything we just need the right manager at the club to take us forward!
