Russell Slade: 'I'll still be Cardiff City manager next season'

Russell Slade has insisted that he will still be Cardiff City manager next season.

The Bluebirds lost 3-0 to Bolton in the Championship and Slade was criticised by the club's supporters.

"There's a lot of confidence in what we are trying to do," Slade told BBC Sport.

"We are trying to build something here, but today is a bad day at the office.

"Obviously you want your fans to be behind the football club. That's important. You want everybody pulling in the right direction.

"That's something I can't control. People are entitled to their own opinion and that's the way it is and sometimes this job is a difficult one when things don't go well."

Cardiff remain in 13th in the Championship table and former Leeds United midfielder Bruno Ribeiro has been tipped to take over as head coach next season.

Cant stand this guy in charge of our football club.
