FAO Slade bashers!!

The pattern here is:

Slade takes over and we get off to a positive start.

Slade gets told by Tan not to play certain players, then gets his best players sold/loaned out with 12 million being shaved off the wage bill and we struggle.

Slade brings in some of his own players during the transfer window and really starts to turn things around.

Slade has Matthew Connolly and Kenwyne Jones loaned out for more cut backs, leaving him 2 further key players down. Slade now has an inevitable struggle until the end of the season, with many City fans waiting for him to fail so they can jump on his back and say "I told you so".

I have to say though some people think that Slade is the worst manager have they forgot about OGS already? Slade is better compared to him though i will say.

We can't win every game and we were in control up until the first goal.

But you are right, we shouldn't lose to a poor team like that. Like we shouldn't draw 4 all after being 4 nil up or lose to macclesfield in a cup game, but it does happen. I feel saturdays game was far worse.

Wez - They were the midfield in a championship winning team that had it sewn up by April........

Whitts has been at the club longer than the 10K fans we are about to lose.He has been through

Dave Jones - Moved him around a bit, found the key and exploited it....

Malky - Built the promotion team around him, flogged him to death but the reward was worth it.

Ole - World wide name - Used him in a modern system that was taking shape but needed far more time than Tan and the fans were willing to give

Slade - 442 get stuck in son, play it long to Kenwynn and take the corners........Apathy throughout the club. He knows this club better than many. Slade won't be here next season, so there's no point in getting out...sit and bide my time

If slade is guaranteed to be here next season I can see Whitts gone with Gunnar. Adeyemi hasn't kicked a ball in anger and the lad he brought in looked useless.......

The highlights reel on Mutch look a lot better than the actual. Often went missing and less chance of a tackle than Whitts.

Wez I agree almost entirely eith you except with your including Gunnar. Hes usually fighting a losing battle on his own in midfield. We havent the talent of Mutch and Kim left now so that midfield should be shored up to counter its inadequacy. What on earth Dumb Bollocks has against Adeyemi I dont know! Has he slept with Slade's wife? Oh and didn't he sign some guy called O'Keefe? Has he jumped ship or something?

I find it difficult to defend Slade, although obviously Tan hasn't helped his cause. It's still some of the worst football I have witnessed in over 45 years of watching this club, and 4 wins from last 17 games is not really anything to get too excited about.
