Pilkington

Mon Apr 06, 2015 10:09 pm

I have posted a number of times on this guy. 5 games left and still nowhere near. Out since NOVEMBER. Hamstring injury and then he tripped when training. Absolutely pathetic. And don't give me this happens as he has a history of injury. Digachoi - don't get me started on him. :o

Sick note, pity because he's one of our better players but a complete sick note.

Notice our injury list was always extremely low with a squad of nowhere near this depth under malky. That's because we had a well physically maintained squad and probably the fittest squad in the league under him.

That consists fly fell away in the latter half of the season (even at Watford) because he pushed them too hard.

I briefly spoke to Pilkington at the Stadium last Saturday. He says that he is now back in full training but needs to compete in an under 21 game. That's this Friday. Too late for Leeds but after that he reckons he'll be available for first team selection. Certainly before the end of the season.

May as well let him rest now and get over whatever injury it is, no point in rushing back

Pilkington and Dicky doo dah - both a complete waste of money.

Agreed.
O'Keefe as well - where did he go?
Any more Palarse duds we could get in (Dikadeedoodah, O'Keefe and Zaha)?

Norwich fans actually warned us about him being prone to injury, they were totally right, shame really because he's a class player.

If he posts holiday photos on Twitter he should get some stern messages back money he's been on to wander to a gym a few days a week.

No point rushing him back!!! Are you taking the piss? He hasn't played since November!!!! What a life. I know people get injured but he also tripped in training! 6 months out on full pay and now we have a long summer break. I know people with extremely serious injuries who have had to return to work.

Absolutely spot on.

I hope both Pilkington & Dikgacoi get moved on this Summer, our club can't afford another couple of "sick notes" for another two or three seasons, Nicky Maynard was bad enough.

Do you think he is bothered about playing? No doubt he would rather be playing than sitting on the sidelines.

Im assuming he still has to go to work :?

I don't see the point in rushing him back for pointless games, get him fit and hopefully moved on in the summer

It looks like most of us agree. But we are probably stuck with them all thanks to the Norwegian buffoon.
