Our keeper is probably the best in the league and in the back 4 we have two £5m centre backs and a Brazilian international who has played in a champions league final. Slade should be doing far far better with what he has at his disposal! We certainly shouldn't be getting hammered on such a regular basis. Most managers at this level would kill for our squad and to have close to £1m to spend on a striker in the January transfer window.

Yes, as was the team second half. Does Trollope have any influence on tactical decisions, subs etc? Or is he here for coaching the squad?

Morrison is not a £5million centre back. That was a huge f**k up by Ole. £2million at best and a waste of ££ when we had a better centre back in Hudson.
Fabio either needs to be played as a wing back or a winger
Not sure any better strikers went for 750k in January, however, Guerra should have been given a chance
Slade is struggling though, that team should be beating Bolton

As you say Marshall manga Morrison fabio whitts etc would all start in your team just like they start in slades
Sadly there performances would let you down just like they are letting slade down

You actually make my point for me! Look at Palace! They were going down under Warnock, in came Pardew and with the same group of players they are now mid table! Some managers just aren't good enough and drag the players down with them. Slade is in that bracket! And you could also apply the same to Norwich!

Yes and palace and Norwich never sold off or got rid of a third of there squad and had to reduce the wage bill by 12 million

Russell Slade won League 1 Manager of the year voting last year ahead of Mark Warburton and Kenny Jackett.
Next season will be a lot better.

That was Warburton's first season in management! Look how well he's done at a higher level. Jackett has already proven himself at this level and has promotion experience. In 20 years Slade has done nothing. And at a higher level this year he has been dreadful. To say he will do better next year is based on nothing but blind faith. People said the same about Ole!

He took over in November 2013 so arguably he is was (and still is) riding from the coat tails of Rosler's success there.
Slade has taken several teams to play-off finals (and massively punching above weight in process with likes of Orient and Yeovil) and never been relegated in his career.
In 20 years he hasn't come close to Warburton's success. His style of play, selection, tactics and subs are incredibly bad! Probably the worst I've seen in 30 years! Yes he took Orient to the play offs last year but look where they were when he left! They couldn't wait to get rid of him.
I'm not saying he is Mourinho but he is nowhere near as bad as people like to make out. The real issue at Cardiff is the incredibly high expectations of the fans and hopefully these are lower next season with us becoming a mid-table Championship side as opposed to a relegated PL side when this season is said and done.
I am sure Slade will get us higher up the table than this season at the very least next season.
