The biggest worry for me about Slade is that we'll often have one good half of football but NEVER a full game.

If we have a good 1st half, the opposition change things around at half-time and Slade seems incapable of counter-acting that change resulting in us losing the initiative.

If we have a good 2nd half we're normally already chasing the game and it's too late. He just isn't proactive enough to change his game plan if things aren't working.

We used to criticise Dave Jones for something similar but he had the good sense to have players of real flair in the team who, even if things were going wrong, could make something out of nothing. Such maverick behaviours would never be tolerated under the current regime

Unfortunately we are now getting used to poor football. Malky's team was massively committed and organised but boring to the point of tedium apart from the fact we were winning, OGS's teams were inept and laughable at times and Slade is just clueless.

Jones's teams may have under achieved (and the time was right for him to leave) but boy did we see some performances that will live long in the memory. The days of Bothroyd/Chopra/McCormack/Bellamy/Whitts/SuperKev/Burkey in their pomp seem a distant memory now.

Correct,most of SLADES games are 45 mins and that's where he is failing badly.

Yes they are! but like I said no one saw it coming after 1st half? And personally think he should go end season give us optimism for next season, otherwise its a case of lets hope we improve with summer signings.
