We could do with a bit of height in the team.

We were like a team of midgets at times yesterday with Fabio, Gunnarsson, Kennedy, Mcaleny, Noone,Doyle and Joe Mason on the pitch.

Didn't stop us playing the usual long ball game though.

Maybe Malky did track him at Watford but he was not a player that he wanted for City, we have disagreed over this before Wez and I will continue to defend my side of the story as it came from the horses mouth when Velikonja signed.

You woukd be surprised how many players names were recommended to Russell Slade in the January transfer window and the manager had to give reasons why he didn't want to sign them.

Malky said that he was happy with him and tracked him ,so either he was or malky was lieing it can't be both

What do you mean by this Carl? Are you saying Slade was not allowed to sign players? Please clarify. :ayatollah:

I believe malky was covering tans arse at the time wez. Carl is right tan met the special one on a yacht party and asked about young up and coming players he could recommend and he must have taken an instant dislike to tan because he recommended velikonja

Yes Carl and Tan bought him. He also bought the other duds. The good signings were Malky's though.

I dont think Carl has ever had Tan's ear, and if you think so, you should share with us, what you're smoking. :laughing6:

Fact is you lot always want the instant fix. Best to cut your losses and start again with Bluebirds running things. We have shown it can be done without billionaires. Bottom of the FL to promotion to the PL, in seven years, in a stadium with less than two thirds of the capacity of the one you have

The capital is worthy of a PL club, but its not a given, even if you chuck money at it, and you lot know all about that now. The sooner the boil that is Tan, is lanced, the better for your club.

Well said.

Ccfc is rotten to the core. We need a drastic change of policy. The way forward for us is to get rid of high earners and utilise the academy. Get a good young coach in like Karl Robinson or Paul Tisdale and build the club from bottom upwards. Get a football philosophy and get that from under 7 through to first team.

We have a big ground and should drop season ticket prices to 200 quid for adults and 50 quid for kids. Give out free tickets to schools as well.

Misread that Jack. I'm pointing out to Carl the fact many said Tan bought the shit players Malky the good. Complete bollocks much as your post about doing it without billionaires. The way you did it couldn't be done now with HMRC closing down clubs who owe them money rather than taking penny in the pound like you did.

I know, just needed a comma in the right place. I was being obtuse.

We needed fifty thousand to keep us afloat, and we entered into a CVA Company VOLUNTARY Agreement. The clue is in the "V", which stands for voluntary, and they can still be applied for, but I don't see Tan as the sort who is going to voluntarily give up over a hundred and fifty million (by his reckoning).

I was one of those who agreed to the CVA, and lost some money, but like everyone who was involved, we eventually profited and we still do, every time we have to pinch ourselves, because we're on MOTD. Nothing will change whilst you have the owner you have now.
