" TODAY EMPTY SEATS "

The away end at Chelsea was half empty,Stoke fans only filled half of it,it shows football in the Premier League is out pricing itself.

Over Pricing itself or fans getting bored?

Stoke have been in the Premier League since 2008 now, a trip to Chelsea is no longer unique.

Stoke are a mid to average sized Football club, they are just surviving, take away the season they got to Europe
its a self preservation job now, why would/should they fill 3,000 seats at stamford bridge, season after season for a club that 'just survives', its nothing to do with cost per se, the value for money, possibly, but to say they been priced out is false.

Big clubs take big following, it takes a long time and a lot of success to become a big club, Stoke aint that, to say that the reason they only filled half the away end today is because they have been priced out if just pure false.

I would hardly say it's "pure false" when tickets are £50, Chelsea is an expensive day out

They are back in London next Saturday at West Ham, £43 for adults but free coach travel.

The only time I could realistically afford to go to every game at those prices is when my kids have grown up. Sad times, football is in decline

Just saw the Leicester goals huge gaps everywhere.

Our tickets are frozon for next season and it's not a good will gesture from the c**t Barber but because relegation looked odds on at one stage and the c**t thinks he's doing Brighton fans a favour.

Last season the c**t said if we're promoted to the premiership then ticket prizes would increase and then our tickets would be £40 - £50 a ticket even though the club would get£70 million or more for promotion. It's not the working man game anymore but a corporate business.

The only way prices will come down to sensible levels and the return of real fans, the hard working fans who are the ones who create the atmosphere as well is to boycott games. I cancelled my sky subscription when Palace got promoted as not having any of my money going to that vile disgusting club and if people are unhappy with things then cancel sky as it's the only way forward.

so many streaming options for football, I would never give my money for games I can access at ease, and repeats of An Idiot Abroad over and over again... agree with you

Exactly. Watched the Houston U.S golf live stream last night and will watch the final round this evening and all for free. Sky and the other broadcasters are the same, repeats, apart from MasterChef but then again each year the contestants cook the same so i suppose it's a repeat also.

Arsenal - Liverpool fans boycotted the first 10 minutes and held up banners yesterday but I suppose after those 10 minutes elapsed then the boycotters had to fight their way in to watch the game. Bloody cringe worthy, Only way it'll change it cancel sky and not attend games.

Not just Premier League.

£32.50 for a ticket to Ipswich next week, Norwich was more I think.

God knows how much the scum are charging for the pleasure of a trip to their shithole on Saturday.

Big club, small club. Stoke still have a very strong fan Base with a good away following playing the best team in the league. £50 for a ticket alone is enough for people to turn around and say nah f**k it!
