Nah same as now we did,not have it right in the board room...no money either. The financial rewards were also not there in them days.

Yes most def if consider what he did for us while he was manage ! But why did we sell him at that point in time? And why did it take so long to get replacement in Warboys?

Yes that was most certainly a reason for club doing what tbey did with toshack! Bit like today with players leaving when should have been consolidating squad for push to premier.

Who knows? Probably the same as we did last season, get relegated.

Those rumours persisted for many years. Probably true. Things only really changed in the last ten years or so.
