" HE HAS ANOTHER YEAR LEFT AT CARDIFF CITY "

" Kenwyne Jones "

Russell Slade I believe he has another year left on his contract. I don’t think he has played his last game. If you are regrouping as a club, you still have to hang on to quality.

It is about balance, it is not about cutting and bringing the budget all the way down for every single player. I still think you need your quality players and it is important you get that balance. It does not mean players are necessarily going to leave the football club.

There was a suggestion he was allowed to leave because another appearance would have triggered a contract extension for Kenwyne Jones. Is there any truth in that?

No, not that I am aware of. Absolutely not.

Annis

This is what frustrates me the most about City at the moment in that the club are not being honest and upfront with the fans.

I have no idea what the club are doing at the moment, hence I'm not excited in looking forward to next season. I don't think I'm alone in my thoughts which in turn is reflected in season ticket sales

Shame as I am always full of hope, but I honestly have no idea who will be our starting 11 come August.

Enjoy the Reading trip tomorrow to everyone that's going.

Can you really see anybody else paying him £37,500 a week plus bonuses? I think he'll have to stay because no-one else sees him as worth that money. A decent championship striker, but not worth half that amount. Even MLS won't pay that much for him.

But can negotiate new contract, especially if Bournemouth get to premier! He will actually be cheap as guess no fee involved! Why else would they take him on his salary and bonuses?

quite right. he is very expensive but the trickle down effect of ever increasing wages from the premier league means we may well find someone who will take him off our hands if and when the club decide he is a luxury we cannot afford.
