KENWYNE JONES REVEALS THE BEST MANAGER HE HAS WORKED WITH

Fri Apr 03, 2015 8:58 am

He has only been at Bournemouth for a week and has worked under managers such as Redknapp and Pulis but KJ says Eddie Howe is the best manager he has worked under.

Seems a bit of a premature statement to me, he hasn't even played a game yet

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is best manager I've worked with, says Kenwyne Jones

Kenwyne Jones has hailed Eddie Howe
Jones only joined the Championship leaders on loan from Cardiff last week but Howe has made an instant impression on the former Sunderland, Stoke and Southampton star.

The striker's old gaffers include Tony Pulis and Harry Redknapp.

But ahead of today's clash at Ipswich he reckons 37-year-old Howe tops the lot.

"On the club front for me, without fail, Eddie is the best manager I have worked with," he said.

"It is a big statement but that is the type of impression he's made on me.

"It's been a short time but I am very much impressed with his work rate and attention to details and philosophy.

"The manager is sure in what he wants and what will fit so the fans have more reason to back him 100 per cent for whatever decisions he makes because I don't think he has put a foot wrong this season.

"I am happy to sneak in here and be part of it for a small time. It's all about trying to get the guys over the line.

Jones may have to settle for some sub appearances for Bournemouth but the way they play and create chances I wouldn't be surprised if he bagged himself a lot of goals in the final run in.

One under his belt with his first touch. Cannot work out how negative some Cardiff fans are about Kenwyne when he's a handful. We currently do not have a striker that comes anywhere near him! Clubs top scorer and he has not been a regular starter and some fans are still not happy. He also wins more or less everything in the air both in attack and defence.
