St Étienne looking to convince Kevin Theophile-Catherine to stay
According to L’Équipe, St Étienne are in the process of trying to convince full-back Kevin Theophile Catherine to remain at the club past his loan spell from Cardiff City.
ASSE have a €2m buy-out option in their loan deal and want to activate it, but they need to convince the player first in order to do so.

I'd forgotten all about him! Best of luck to KTC back in France.

Headline Is a bit misleading isn't it?
Where does he say he doesn't want to come back?
Surely if st etiene need to convince him to stay it's more likeley he wants to come back rather than stay!
or is the title just for the hits?

Best right back in the championship such a f*cking dopey decision
to move him on.
its good knowledge hes playing an important role in france in top division.
We should be fighting to keep him

Another player constantly slagged on here. Our prem year scapegoat.

We don't want him back.
St. Etienne have been given the option to buy him at the end of the loan. If he didn't want to come he doesn't have to. However all stories online are suggesting that St. Etienne are trying to convince him to stay.
So not quite the slight on our club that the header is suggesting.

One of the worst players last season. Think he really struggled with the pace of the Premier League. Strangely, I think he'd have bossed the Championship. Would have suited his game better. Nevermind though. Won't be missed.

Shouldn't that headline read " I'm not sure I want to stay at St.Etiene"? However, I guess that doesn't suit the negative agenda of this forums mods
