“It’s been a real shame and a really disappointing season. The dressing room hasn’t been a good place to be. I get unfair impressions on my style of play, but the reality is that it’s the way the gaffer has decided he wants to play the game. The lads are playing for their careers and the playing style is hampering them. I was told after the Birmingham game that it would be my last game for Cardiff this season because one more appearance would trigger a new contract. It’s a shame how things have worked out there. It was an exciting opportunity when it arose. Nothing surprises me in football these days. I have been so impressed with the way Bournemouth want to play the game, it’s like a breath of fresh air. The lads and gaffer have been great with me since the first minute. I just hope I can play a part in helping them across the line.”

Not good quotes and will do the manager no credit. However, as much as I believe Slade is NOT the man to take us forward, he does appear to have stopped the rot and we are in no danger of relegation
The saddest thing is that we should have been challenging for promotion with the squad we had!![]()
