Cardiff City - from Premier League to feeder club

In less than a season.

As the first club to unofficially declare that the season has actually finished, our club have obviously spent the last few months pimping every player at the club with a view to saving money on wages. I bet Tan is gutted that he couldn't have got rid of about a dozen more.

Whilst still peddling the usual bollocks about aiming for the play-offs (until that became so laughable that even the club had to acknowldege it was never going to happen  ) and still insisting that they are comitted to getting back to the Premier League as soon as possible

Tan is probably checking to see if we can not bother with the rest of our fixtures in order to save travelling expenses, paying match day staff etc.

Every club now knows that we'll take anything to get rid of our high earners. For that reason I doubt that we'll get anything like the proper value for players like Marshall and Manga as we will bite the hand off any club that makes an offer just to get rid of their wages.

Would the club rather hold out for £7 million for Manga and risk having to pay him for next season if nobody pays that much or do you think they'll accept the first offer of around £3 million to get his wages off the books?

However we can at least be assured that one thing won't be cut next season - the cost of our season tickets.
