They are not renewing their season tickets, due to City not being our club anymore, the rebrand destroyed us and the divide & bullying it caused ? ?

Looks like tans customers as he called the fan base won't be customers anymore.

the lack of empathy towards fans will bite hard. Technically he was right that we were replaceable, it's just he keeps f*cking things up his end, not wanting to employ a decent manager etc so is left with the supporters he's previously abused!

It doesn't look as though the plastic PL glory hunters were replaceable after all. The club has done everything it possible can over the past three years or so to upset it's own supporters, shame, but as they say, you reap what you soe, in life

the way I see it, Tan made those comments in a position of strength, knowing there was huge demand for tickets in PL. Now the 10,000 or so more interested in watching Rooney & Gerrard have vanished. Get them lifetime bans for disloyalty
He is left with the irreplaceables, the ones he should have more respect for. Tan only sees supporters as numbers ££££

The thing that has come out of all this is that;
Members of this board and those who kicked off about the rebrand etc are in the smallest minority.
People for whatever reason have had enough and are walking with their feet. They are cited as PL glory hunters to plastics lol but also included are fans who have supported the club for many years
The most damaging are the younger generation who are calling it a day
Cardiff City FC so so sad you screwed it all up

Next season will be my forth season of not watching Cardiff "live" games. Got offered tickets for free last weekend and still couldn't bring myself to go down to the stadium. Feeling distant from the you love is a horrible feeling, expessually when you get branded "Glory hunter", hen you've never seen the glory to begin with.
Thu Mar 26, 2015 11:20 am
A generation of youngsters will now get there Liverpool and Man Utd tops back out and stop supporting the City, shame. Even in our stadium last Saturday I saw a kid queuing for food in a full Swansea City tracksuits

The bottom line is that would the exodus be as extreme if we were doing well? I'm not so sure. I'm expecting my second child in September so financially getting my first season ticket since we were in the Championship last time due to my boycott against the rebrand (coinciding with the arrival of my first child) is almost impossible. I will still be attending matches when I can though and when finances are more settled I will be looking to get a season ticket again.
I'm not sure I understand those that are still staying away based on the club's identity. Bitterness can swallow you whole if you don't look at forgiveness. Tan made a mistake with the rebrand but he has gone back on his own judgement. I don't think I can ever like or trust the man after the rebrand but I can certainly forgive him and move on. Not attending games right now is hard to do now we're back in blue but for the time being I simply cannot afford it. I hope those that can afford it get a season ticket because I'd bloody love to have one.

Annis alot of damage done, in a couple of years with the squad rebuild I believe the fan Base will strengthen again

I'm not renewing but will still turn up whenever possible.
Makes it more sense to pay on day.
Not enough perks really to buy a season ticket early anymore.
Better to pay on day then walk around to other seats to be with your mates. Plenty to choose from.

Those not renewing are not City fans, although they say they are! Once a City fan always a City fan, it's in the blood, really pisses me off when people say this is not my club anymore, if you are a City fan you will always be one
Thu Mar 26, 2015 1:25 pm
Does not include those not renewing but still attending
Thu Mar 26, 2015 1:29 pm
I still hold out hope for our younger generation. I go to every home City game (and a few away) with my 10 year old boy. He got his first season ticket this season (so not attending for PL glory) and we have a good time together even if the football is not that great.
I've spoken with him about what being a real supporter is - you follow your local club through thick and thin. He gets it. We watch Chelsea, Man City, Barcelona etc together on Sky but he SUPPORTS the Bluebirds.
Not every kid is going to support the glory teams. Its up to us as an older generation to get our kids involved. Talk to them about the team, and the good/bad times. My son asked for his ST to be renewed at the end of Jan. I'm proud of his mature attitude. We need to set an example to all of our young supporters (don't boo the team, get behind them) to ensure they keep the faith and go to games.

Love the fact when we were in the prem the club couldn't give a shit who renewed cos there was so much demand
I couldn't renew on the deadline last year because I didn't get paid till week after they told me it was first come first serve after that not being loyal to fans who have been going years on years
Now they are begging the current st holders to renew
Thu Mar 26, 2015 1:48 pm
We haven't half got some drama queens on here. Either go to games, or don't. Same as it ever was!
Thu Mar 26, 2015 1:57 pm
Sorry I just don't get this distant/ alianated from club bit? I have travelled the world and I'm I've only been home for 5yrs since
1981… But never felt distant from club in all that time and seen some crap football/owners at club! Maybe its because I am passionate about it and will never lose that regardless of what happens.

45yrs and counting

It's still Cardiff City. It may have changed a bit over the last few years and currently not doing well but it's still the club we all support and should continue to support through good times and bad.
Not renewing is like ditching your missus for a few months or years if she's being moody or put a bit of timber on, then getting back with her when she gets back to how she was.
Support the club we all love, although we may not like at the moment
Renew your season ticket cos I hate looking around an empty stadium

How can you say people who are not renewing are not city fans..bit of a sweeping statement that, some people like me who have followed the club for over 20 years may not renew..does that mean we are not city fans...

I'll be renewing, not this month due to circumstances,,but renewing all the same.

The glory support has gone
The ones with blue blood will re-new no matter what
I do think season tickets need to be reduced at the moment same as premier league prices
there will be a lot of potential walk up support younsters and ex season ticket holders
they must get the right entry price - low enough to get them to come
no point having £18 for under 16s
£28 for anyone else they wont turn up
£5/10 kids
£15/20 adults

tan was right the fans are customers and replaceable.....but sadly its looking like being replaced with an awful lot of empty seats...

I intend to restart again.
However it will be interesting if the club send me an email or letter.

they cant make them to low as otherwise what's the point of having season tickets . I think my Season ticket works out £15 a game , so I think £20 adult is about right as season tickets still get the saving

Just an excuse for fans to not turn up and watch less than decent football.

whether it is or it isn't an excuse. The club is going to have a problem filling the stadium and this is a fact. Would be sensible to try do something about that in my eyes rather than the club not doing anything.

Don't think it's an excuse
The ones who will renew will be paying to see and expect a decent Audi instead they will be lucky to get a crushed Lada.
If you have money to waste then good on you.
At least you can play musical chairs next season with the amount of empty seats
