" Cardiff City Fans to appear in Court Next Week "

Wed Mar 25, 2015 8:56 pm

Cardiff fans are up in Court Thursday April 2nd for the fighting with Liverpool fans outside Canton Sports bar, when Liverpool Fans who were on an independent Coach, arrived while the game was on,with no intentions of going to the game.
City fans were on there way back from the march for the return to Blue.
As they got there Liverpool fans had already got off their coach and were fighting a few " Girl Cardiff supporters "  , who were injured, City fans then got involved, chasing them back on to their coach.

The same group of Liverpool fans then attacked City fans in the Ninian Park, they were then escorted all out.

Be interesting to hear if any Liverpool fans were charged?

Apparently the Police want 5yr bans on City fans.

Rucks with the police these days will end badly. Whatever you feel, whatever you believe, they are there to enforce the law and public disorder, if proven, will end up in charges.

C'mon fellers, we know the score. Tough shirt if you're caught in the middle.

So let's hear it then what should our lads who did get involved (to help out the girls who were being attacked,) what should they have done? Those Liverpool came to take liberties and bit off more than they could chew. The Scousers also arrived when they knew most of our lads were at the ground after the protest march. Had they have turned up when the march was taking place they would have done nothing. :bluescarf:

Totally but the police will act upon identified people. Unfortunately, Cardiff fans are easier to collar. Scouser scan rely on the fact that there are millions of them. They may not even be regular fans, just came along to cause trouble. The other thing is CCTV is notoriously bad quality whereas the body cams police wear (which pick up the action after the initial incident) will have HD quality and sound.

Like I said, we know the score. I don't agree with it but that's the way it is.

Point taken, but still it is easier to identify Cardiff fans than scouser sand the natural tendency is to go for the easy targets. The body cams worn by police record sound and from the sound of it, by the time they got involved, Bluebirds fans were (understandably) wound up.

Like I said, I don't agree with it, but that's the way it is.
