Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink

Tip of the hat to our former player for pulling off the superb job he is doing at Burton. I know he wasn't exactly prolific for us but he scored some vital goals and, unlike Fowler, actually made an effort when he did play it was just his legs that let him down.

I wonder how far he will go in Management ???

Would he be a good bet for us ?????

I think Jimmy did ok out of it - another financial cock-up by Ridsdale!

because unlike the fore-mentioned he is forging a promising career in this country. Promotion on the cards this season. Always going to be a risk though but I reckon worth it

I agree. I think he's still relatively unproven. He did ok with a very average Royal Antwerp side in Belgium. I doubt he'd come back to us after what happened but with none of the previous regime left he might change his mind. I think he has that focus and tactical nous to make a career for himself as a manager.

I remember him lecturing Arron Ramsey on the pitch before our FA cup tie away to Middlesbrough, on our way to Wembley.

He looked then like a natural coach.
