Remember as a kid watching ainsworths debut for city, and asking my dad who's that guy, his work rate was immense, whenever someone lost the ball he'd bomb back to win the ball back.

I'd give him a chance like I did slade.
I always wanted Ardley when he was youth manager and still think it, would have saved us a fortune.

He only had 9 appearances and then went to QPR.

Watch him captain Wycombe against Burton a few seasons back. The guys passion is remarkable. Even Annis would not see any fault in it. It came no surprise to me when Wycombe gave him the job.

I think he was with us on loan - was injured before the play-off final and despite being fit wasn't picked.
He was a very exciting player who went on to score a wonder-goal at QPR.

Yeah I did, I was all for fresh ideas and giving him a chance. If you could be bothered to search back (I wouldn't bother lol) you would see I actually stuck up for him for a while. Sadly It soon game very apparent he is way out of his depth though, the tipping point was when he kept putting 3 central defenders on the bench and leaving out an array of attacking talent.
