Take a quick look at another thread also suggesting this and you'll see it turns quickly to comments encouraging people to stand in numbers regardless of what the club or stewards do.
You must have noticed the verbals and then removal of a fan last week, which was apparently caused by a drunken fan standing in front of an old guy and then getting aggressive when asked to sit down.
Unfortunately the idea of standing at the back of the Ninian, which is the only workable solution to not spoiling it for fans who prefer to sit, won't work. There will still be a number of more selfish, possibly drink fuelled fans who will stand and block views further down. This causes trouble and is precisely why Cardiff, other clubs and the League won't allow standing, because it leads to bother.
We're luckier than most as we have a section in the Canton that the club turns a blind eye to.

There's a difference between negativity and opinion.
I wasn't even negative about Tan or the Red shirts. I just want to support my team, my way and with them playing at least moderately entertaining football.
A better atmosphere is what we all want but I would always respect the little lady sitting behind me who couldn't see if I stood up. Unfortunately, and surely nobody would disagree, that there are quite a few City Fans who wouldn't be as thoughtful as me.
Away fans are tolerated standing, as we always are at other stadiums. That's because they can't ban you for it there but that's not the case if we stand outside the Canton at our place. I stand at away games for that very reason.
Lol, if everyone always agreed then this wouldn't be a forum and you'd end up posting and answering your own threads.
