Any club in the Championship would miss a player like Connolly. 3 promotions with 3 different clubs in the Championship. A reliable, dependable, versatile defender who will always be solid and not let us down at this level, as he has the correct mentality, professionalism and character. When we are under a cosh hanging onto a lead and buckle under the pressure in the future, it will probably because Connolly isn't there.

I was annoyed he left but I don't even rate him so I'm not really sure why

Didn't need him at all today, as I've been saying since the first half of the season, he's a liability and shouldn't be in the starting 11. He's a backup player at best.
